This was a private residence renovation project in Koeln. Goal was to create additional ‘warmth’ in the forms, plus add functionality to the bathroom, facelift the kitchen, and make necessary technical updates.
The rounded walls bring a feeling of security and pleasure to the space. The bathroom was very challenging as it needed to increase functionality within a very small space. All new electrical and water systems were installed.
The kitchen received an all new look by simply changing color and materials. A simple ‘design theme’ was used throughout: primarily white to increase light, secondary use of all wood materials within the ‘living spaces’ in dark chocolate, with all accenting colors in warm orange.
